Information for Employers

Thank you for your interest in WorkNow Kentucky, the subsidized employment program for individuals who need and want jobs. The WorkNow program will pay 100% of the cost of the wages for any WorkNow Kentucky participant placed at your worksite through September 18, 2010. Employers who provide a worksite with supervision and training are required only to reimburse a minimal cost for placement that will be used to help cover a portion of the program costs not covered by state and federal funds, or possibly  at no cost at all. We hope that this opportunity will allow you to grow your business while also helping people become employable and gain experience. You may even decide that you want to keep the person as an employee when the program ends.
